Concert at the Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, featuring Donnagh McKenna’s work
Rhythmic Ties
Four canvases by Donnagh were displayed on stage with the support of The Wapping Arts Trust.
Violinist Alda Dizdari and pianist Tom Blach performed works by old and new masters.
The pieces ranged from Schubert’s Grand Duo to the solo Violin Sonata by distinguished contemporary composer Robin Holloway, plus Fauré’s Sonata in A Major. The concert ended with Ravel’s Tzigane.
